What kind of teacher mindset can support students to learn and improve?
We often talk about the importance of developing a growth mindset environment where students’ efforts are praised, and where they get more resilient and motivated to learn. An environment that is based on a culture of learning and making progress despite challenges, diverse learning experiences, needs, and learning styles.

Integrating this environment into our teaching has become a prerequisite for cultivating students’ growth mindset. But in practice, are we supporting students to achieve this growth?
Before examining our practices, we have to reflect on our mindsets,i.e., the beliefs we hold about our roles, relationships with students and colleagues. This can help us decide what kind of mindset for learning we need to develop as teachers.
