You can find time to make it. You need just some planning to organize your time wisely. To make a decent income from home you need to select high-paying online jobs. To help you out with such a process, I put together this list of 8 Best Paying Online Jobs for Teachers.

Having the necessary teaching skills, you can work online as a teacher or tutor. There are plenty of flexible online teaching opportunities that allow you to work anywhere and get paid.
No matter what subject you’re teaching at school (English, Maths, Science, etc.), you can help others learn it online.

Another non-teaching online job is proofreading. You can earn more than $20 Per Hour as a freelance proofreader. You can review content (blog post, or an ebook) before it’s published and get paid.
Proofreading skills are highly demanded now. A lot of bloggers want to produce perfect content that ranks well and also authors want their books to become bestsellers.
So, you can make money from home by taking online proofreading jobs. Use sites like FlexJobs and Upwork to find remote proofreading work.

Transcription work is another online job. Transcriptionists create written versions of audio or video recordings, meetings, and conversations.
So, you need to type efficiently and accurately to do this work. Here are some home-based transcription companies :
Rev: You can work online from home and get paid weekly on Monday via PayPal for transcribing audio files. The more work, the higher the paycheck.
TranscribeMe: another work-from-home transcription company that pays weekly. They pay $20 per audio hour, plus a $2 bonus if you produce quality work.

6. Reading books
If reading books is your passion, you can earn money reading books online. So, it is a win-win situation. Because you’re not just going to get paid, but also enjoy, learn from books, and hone your writing skills in case you’re asked to review them.
There are platforms where you can get paid to read and review books.
Kirkus Media provides you with all genres of books, you can make your selection and start your reading.
Online Book Club is also another platform where you can earn between $5 – $60 per book review (depending on the length of the book). You need to create an account and then select a book to read.

Yet, these apps will also need you to submit a small review and rate the books after reading them. Websites like Goodreads and BookYap offer such job opportunities.
To apply, you need to send them your updated resume, along with your writing samples.
7. Typing
There are different kinds of typing jobs online you can earn money from.
Some sites will pay you for typing handwritten documents or turning freehand notes into electronic documents( PDF, Microsoft Word, Google Docs, etc.)

Freelancer, Go Transcript, and Peopleperhour.
Other platforms provide book typing jobs like Quick Transcription Service and Fiverr.
You can also type just words and make money online if you join DataPlus+ and iWriter.
8. Blogging
If you enjoy writing, then you can start your own blog as a part-time job. What I enjoy about blogging is that you can share your thoughts with other teachers.
Not only this! You’ll learn more about teaching from reading books and teachers’ feedback.
The reason why I put blogging at the end of this list is because it’s completely different from the other online jobs.
Blogging is not like freelancing, proofreading, or reviewing books, you get paid after completing your assignment. It takes time and requires much effort to make money.
If you start blogging just for the sake of making money, you may lose your passion for writing and get discouraged when you’re not earning much.
Blogging about teaching can be a GREAT professional development opportunity. So, focus on this first!
